  23. Guess again. Apple, IMHO, ain't goin' bust at the moment. They have
  24. lost earnings indeed - but by putting relatively cheap Macs in the
  25. street, they managed to increase their user base from 10 million to
  26. about 22 million in three years. They could survive on a fifth of
  27. that. In 1993, they lost big too and bounced right back the
  28. year after. A lot of people here act like Wall Street instant-panic
  29. dealers and forget to think about the bigger picture.

  31. Apple users are nearly as loyal as Amiga users. Make no mistake,
  32. Apple is still big and a lot of people WANT them to survive as the
  33. only high-street alternative to Intel and Windows. And a PowerPC Mac
  34. ain't no slouch compared to a Pentium, either.
